The reverse of the bronze medal commemorates the British victory at the Battle of Pulo Aura in 1804. The medallion features a god-like character, probably Neptune, seated on a pedestal, wearing a halo or crown, and holding in his right hand a trident and in his left the figure of an angel that symbolizes victory. On the boarder of the medal there are the following inscriptions: “THE FRENCH FLEET REPULSED BY THE E.I. COMPY.,” “XV FEB. MDCCCIV,” “MILLS F.,” and “MUDIE D.”
